Hexagon is a freeware Flash game created by Terry Cavanagh. It was the prototype for Super Hexagon, and was developed during one day under the game jam Pirate Kart V in 2012.
Like its successor, the game features music by Chipzel and voice work by Jenn Frank. Its graphics and mechanics are simpler, and it consists of only one stage which resembles the later Hexagon stage, divided into five levels.
Hexagon Ice[]
Terry Cavanagh has also made Hexagon Ice, which was a harder, faster version of Hexagon. It has a blue background, similar to Hyper Hexagon, but the music used was Focus (music of Hexagonest) instead of Courtesy (music of Hexagon).
